This weekend I got to do some prom pictures. I have known this family forever. The fact that this young lady is graduating tonight makes me feel so old. I remember when she started school. Well congrats to all of you graduating tonight. Here are just a few of the pictures from Saturday. And you can see the rest HERE.

My little girl had a chorus concert last night. I took a lot of images. Later to find out I forgot I was still shooting in raw. I'm glad I was, I just wish I would have remembered while shooting. I may have made some setting changes. They came out pretty good anyway. I sat in the back and used the zoom to get a straight on level instead of an up-the-nose shot. I'll have a gallery of what I have sometime this weekend. ~Later~

Ok so I know this poor little blog has been so neglected, but I'm considering hosting from my site instead of here. I haven't made a decision yet, but would sure appreciate any feed back. You can check it out here. There really isn't much there just yet, but take a look anyway.

A few years ago I was asked to shoot a wedding for a friend of a friend. I'm so glad we found each other. Their wedding was by far my favorite so far. And we became great friends. Yesterday I got to shoot some family portraits for them. We were on the water in the freezing wind, and well worth it. We got some great shots. I'm going to try to keep this to a minimum but there were so many shots that I just loved it's going to be difficult to choose.
Look at how in love they still are...
And look at how she looks at him, made me want to cry.

Don't they look like angels? Can you believe one of them hates having her picture taken? Crazy but true.

And here is everyone...

Trying to challenge myself I decided to start a new blog. I will be keeping this one, but also posting on the other. The purpose of the other blog is to post a picture a day and that is it. Maybe in the future I will combine the 2 but for now I think I'll keep it seperate. Here it is...enjoy.

I haven't posted in a while. The sittings I've had I have not yet gotten permission to share. And a special project I am working on is not ready for public viewing. So I took this today just to update this here blog. But stay tuned there are exciting things about to happen (if all goes well).

This carnival was too cute. All the things lit up and moved. I liked the ice skating rink too.
Plus we were greeted by this HUGE friendly dog. I don't remember his name but he was so sweet and loved attention from everyone, even the kids.
Just to give you an idea of the size of this pup (yes I said pup, he's only a year old). Here he is with my 8 yr. old daughter.

Well my poor computer is fixed.
I finally made a logo decision (you can see it in the header). It wasn't easy but I heard what every one had to say between the comments here, emails and forums. I mixed it all up. And I decided to keep the butterfly but keep it seperate.
Here are a few pictures I've done recently...
This is how I feel about this time of year too.
And a shot from when I went bowling with my brother.

For those of you who don't already know, I lost my hard drive last Friday(sniff sniff). It's like loseing an old friend. It has taken almost the whole week to recover pictures and other files. We are almost done. I have some pictures to edit as well as some other things going on. I will be sure to post as soon as I get things back together.

Every year I revamp my logo just a little. But this year while playing with it I came up with a few different designs that I can't decide between. I'm even considering doing away with the butterfly. But just can't come to a decision. So I thought I might leave it up to you. Just leave a comment for a vote Number 1,2 or 3. FYI...I wouldn't keep them those sizes for print. And the pictures the logos are on are not part of the logo, they are just samples.

I recieved this in an email today. And this is how I usually feel after trying to do pictures with my family. I have decided that if my brothers ever want pictures taken, or if anyone wants pictures of them for any reason, they are going to have to hire someone. They take me about as seriously as this cartoon.

is what they call it. I think I prefer the name Dirty Formals. Anyway no real damage this time. But I'm pretty sure we will be doing it again. Isn't she gorgeous!??! Here are just a few.
And this one was just screaming for wings.

And how fun is this?

To those of you who live in the area,
I will be taking pictures pretty much when ever I go out. And I will be posting them in my momentshare galleries with the date and sometimes the place. Feel free to check it from time to time to see if I may have taken your picture out somewhere. Or even to see somethings going on in the area. Here is one I took at the park today, not of an unsuspecting "victim" but of my nephew, isn't he the cutest?!!?

Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause.
Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions.
Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer.
As Think Pink Photography grows, so will the opportunities for you to become involved and support this important cause. I encourage you to sign up for our newsletter (on the Think Pink website and Think Pink blog) and tell your friends and family about Think Pink Photography. Awareness is everything and we can't be successful without you.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Think Pink Photography! If you hire me, mention Think Pink and I will make a personal donation to the organization. www.thinkpinkphotography.org
